First Blockchain Masterclass Hosted by NGN International and Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance
Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain — NGN International, in partnership with Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF), holds BIBF's first masterclass aimed to help IT and business professionals and decision makers from all industries discover blockchain fundamentals and benefits for Bahrain businesses and economy.
We have been witnessing how blockchain technology is creating a new reality with unprecedented level of trust and confidence. More and more experts are convinced that this technology shall forever change principles of doing business but are still uncertain of how it will happen.

On July 27, Blockchain Masterclass was held—the very first blockchain event arranged by BIBF with the expert support of NGN International, a part of a multinational systems integrator NGN. The Masterclass was intended to tell business in clear language about blockchain technology, opportunities it provides, and risks it may bring. The Masterclass covered various matters, such as how blockchain would influence economy and society, and how to apply it effectively.

During five hours, the Masterclass attendees were guided by guest experts, including prominent blockchain developers and implementers, and learned blockchain history and case studies across various sectors, such as financial services, loans, P2P energy markets, etc.

"Blockchain is a very promising technology but still unknown in many aspects. We've made our first step in this fascinating journey to speak about blockchain using case studies from government, logistics, banking and finance sectors, and we will continue improving this training and developing advanced blockchain courses so that our students could truly benefit from emerging digital opportunities,» - says the BIBF's head of Operations, IT and Project Management Centre, Mr. Ahmed Naeemi.

"NGN and our partners have been practicing blockchain technology for some years now, and our experience shows how the technology shapes a new reality and new digital future, which we are happy to discover jointly with our customers. I thank BIBF for the opportunity to share our knowledge and experience and thus drive the fastest adoption of blockchain technology on Bahrain market," says Mr. Yaqoob Al Awadhi, CEO of NGN International.

NGN and BIBF have been cooperating since February 2017, with the Masterclass being their third joint event. NGN shares its own and its partners' expertise in IT infrastructure, the latest IT trends and know-how, and case studies to raise public awareness about IT issues.
